NOTICE REGARDING TRANSPORTATION:

As an all volunteer organization, we rely on the generosity of our members to provide transportation for local events which would involve their personal vehicles and insurance. As a result, please note that CISV is not responsible for transportation to or from any local CISV program, event or meeting hosted by a chapter, or by chapter delegations, or any chapter volunteer. Parents are responsible for making personal arrangements for transportation for any member of their family participating in any local program, event or meeting.

NOTICE REGARDING ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION:

As an educational organization, CISV strives to educate parents and children in appropriate use of our CISV logo and branding, and appropriate postings of CISV activities and programs. However, we ask that parents in the internet age take an interest in and be aware of what their children are posting, whether related to CISV or not. CISV does not monitor the use of electronic communications by its volunteers, leaders, delegates, members, or others participating in CISV, its programs, events, activities or association with the organization in any way. It is the responsibility of every member of CISV to report any discovery or suspicion of inappropriate electronic communications to the chapter risk manager of your local chapter, or CISV USA’s National Risk Manager (Stephenie Teichman: stephenie.teichman@cisvusa.org) immediately.

NOTICE REGARDING TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Travel Insurance is available for participants in our International programs. Certificates of Insurance will be provided within 2 weeks prior to travel. If you have not received an Insurance Certificate 2 weeks prior to scheduled travel, please contact your chapter Risk Manager or Insurance Chair for assistance.
