Beyond the Badge – Trooper Jason Fagan

This week, we salute Trooper Jason Fagan of the Colorado State Patrol. During the past three years, Trooper Fagan has put together the “Heroes and Helpers” program. This year, Jason’s Helper was a young girl who came to shop for others to make their Christmas bright but asked for NOTHING for herself. Jason took it upon himself to gradually ask what she would want in addition to items she had already asked Santa for. The young girl was wearing some worn clothes and shoes so this was where Jason focused his efforts – they had a blast shopping for clothes and shoes all her own! Jason’s thoughtfulness in helping someone helping others makes this a shining example of going…”Beyond the Badge.”
