The Reese’s Senior Bowl named its 2024 Rookies of the Year and announced the game’s 2025 Hall of Fame class Thursday, and Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix was the Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year. Nix shares this honor with Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey after finishing in third place in the voting for NFL Offfensive Rookie of the Year.
Congratulations to former Oregon & Auburn QB Bo Nix on being named as our Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year. Nix lead the Denver Broncos to a 10-win season and a spot in the playoffs. He finished 3rd in the NFL OROY vote earlier this year. Big things ahead for Bo and the Broncos! pic.twitter.com/YSBgK2s9RK

Nix played in the 2024 Senior Bowl, completing four of his five passes for 21 yards and a touchdown in two drives of action. This game was the start of him getting on Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos’ radar leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft. He was the only future Bronco on the 2024 Senior Bowl roster.
The nomination is fitting for Nix, who started 61 games in his collegiate career and has the eighth-most pass completions in this history of college football.
In 2024, Nix led the Broncos back to the playoffs for the first time since 2015 when the team won Super Bowl 50. He threw for 3,775 yards and 29 touchdowns (2nd-most all-time) in 17 starts while recording another four rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown. He was the third rookie quarterback this century to catch a touchdown.
The Oregon and Auburn product was great as a rookie for the Broncos, but the focus now shifts to his development heading into the second year of his career. Between the organization getting more weapons and Nix improving his quarterback traits, there’s a lot of growth to be had (in a good way) for Nix to truly take the Broncos offense to a top-tier level.
Nix and the other honorees will return to Alabama in early May to be honored with their respective awards. For now, all the focus is on the 2025 NFL Draft as the Broncos look to acquire young talent to help Nix and the offense.
