Rockies new City Connect jerseys leak, they’re very colorful

The Colorado Rockies will debut a new alternate jersey this season as part of Nike and Major League Baseball’s City Connect program, and the 2025 duds are extremely colorful if this jersey leak is right.
Leaking on Wednesday, the Rockies’ new City Connects appear to be an homage to the state’s “Colorful Colorado” slogan that is famously on the brown signs when entering the land where columbines grow. The jersey features a few new colors for the purple-clad Rockies who have only ever worn that shade, black, silver and white with some experimentation into green. The Rockies’ will be wearing blue, orange and what appears to be pink for the first time.
Sky blue makes up the top part of the jersey while “Rockies” in purple font is joined by the team’s mountain logo, which breaks the blue from purple, which makes up most of the rest of the chest. Then there are also those crazy collars and sleeves where the rest of the colors pop out.
While great in idea, it’s hard to see these jerseys being as loved as the last City Connect uniforms, which focused on the state’s wildlife, mountains and greenery. It was hard to walk around the metro area without seeing the socks or hats from those uniforms and they quickly became one of the most worn for games at Coors Field.
The new duds, well—they’re something.
The new City Connects may have leaked!
If these are them, give it a rating on a scale of 0 or 1👇👇

Despite hints in the past of honoring Denver’s baseball history with something tying the Rockies to the White Elephants, Bears or Zephyrs—they have once again gone a different route. For the second round of City Connects, the Rockies have chosen state over city.
While these City Connects may not hit the right spot, it’s fun to see the Rockies experiment with what is a mostly stale brand.
Baseball is back in Colorado on Friday, with the Rockies opening up Coors Field for the first time after a 1-4 road trip.
